Hi, I planned an AT thru-hike last year (starting March 2016) and it never happened due to family circumstances. Sadly, my mother-in-law was going to be my replacement here at the homestead to help with my wife and children, however she suffered several heart attacks and had open heart surgery, and therefore was unable to help out. The dream stayed alive throughout the fall and winter of 2016, in hopes I would be able to start my journey in 2017. However, now the time has come and I just do not have the resources in place this year. I have accumulated an entire thru-hiking setup over a year's time with some of the best and lightest gear I could find. I have spent endless time and energy (as well as finances) buying this stuff. I need money now, more than I need this gear.

I am posting this here on this community because I know it is best served. I'd really like to sell it as one big thru-hiking lot, simply in the interest of time. For me to have to take pictures, post, package, and ship every little item would be very difficult and time consuming with my current work schedule. So, if there is anybody out there that would like to buy this entire package, please let me know.

I will take some pictures and post them of kind of everything together. If you any questions about specific items, please go ahead and ask. However, at this time I am not going to piece everything one at a time. Maybe in the future I will consider this. Or, if there is somebody out there who is business-minded and has the time and energy to buy this package and can sell everything individually to make some money. I know I'm going to lose money on this, but I'm willing to make a deal.

Just for reference a I am 5'11" and 180lbs with size 11 shoes. All items purchased fit me well.
