I made this myself and tested it. It works great for those who don’t use trekking poles and don’t want to pay $40 plus shipping for the carbon version that Zpacks sells.

These fold down to around 16.5″ and expands to 58.5″. I would think these are much stronger and last longer than the carbon version. The poles will hold up to very strong wind.

These weigh in at 4.23oz. This is about 1 oz heavier than the carbon version.
