Very much new to backpacking. Have yet to go on trip, but am slowly compliling gear for a late-season and/or early-next-year trip. Going to hike TRT next summer, so I'd like to have gear locked in by then. No hammocks, tarps or bivvy sacks please! I don't mind a little bit of weight. I am a uni student, so cost > weight, but not more important than durability/longevity. Also, any recommendations are welcome! Thanks for looking!
