Hi! Alright so here's the deal with the Mariposa. I bought it sometime in July, wore it one trip last month and loved it, thought it did great. Carried it with ~20 pounds for around 33 miles. Here are pictures of it: http://imgur.com/a/p8Ljz On the second night, even with the pack hanging, a chipmunk climbed up and chewed a hole through one of the hipbelt pockets. ARGH!!! I sewed it up, and it's super strong, but obviously this brings down the re-sale value. The hipbelt is fully removable and replaceable with a new one from GG. If I sell this pack for $140, plus shipping it would be around $155. A new hipbelt is $40. So you can leave it as is for $155, or you can get a new hipbelt from GG and have your total invested be $195. New from GG a Mariposa will run you $255.

$60 dollars off, for a pack that was used for 33 miles and a brand new hipbelt. Or $100 dollars off if you're good with the patch up job that works perfectly.

It comes in at 2lb on my scale. Super comfy.
