4' x 8' Poncho Tarp

Bought this here a couple of seasons ago and after one trip discovered I had reached my “Stupid Light” limit, as Glen Van Peske would say. You have to be pretty confident there won’t be any rain to use this as a tarp, especially if you’re 6′ tall or inexperienced in tarp pitching.

6oz. on my scale for the poncho

1oz. for the line

NO STAKES INCLUDED

Made from what looks like some pre-cuben Dyneema fabric.

One of the snaps is busted for poncho mode, but its the second, rather than first, snap, so the arm hole is still created. It makes a great emergency shelter if you like using a poncho for rain and sleeping under the stars if weather permits.

Hood is fully seam-sealed, and the back hem in poncho mode has an elastic adjustment to pull it under the bottom of your pack so it doesn’t billow around.

No holes/tears

Comes with pre-cut line

$50 shipped
