I had John put together a custom-modified Bug Bivy for me – but I’m letting it go after only 2 nights on the trail.

It’s the Long/Wide size, weighs a full ounce below normal spec (5.5 oz instead of 6.5 oz) and is modified with:
A single two-way zipper that goes along >both< sides  —  Center pull-up loop  —  Bottom made from Membrane SilPoly  —  Argon Head and Foot caps

I call it the ‘cockpit bivy’ because you can fully unzip it, roll down the mesh and have nothing between you and the stars if you want – and then zip it up when the flying nasties come a calling.

This could go well under the Six Moon Designs Deschutes CF (.74 cuben) tarp I’m also letting go in a separate post.

Cost $110 — I can let it go for $88 (which includes postage in the Cont’l US).
