WTB: mid-level XL down jacket
My brother-in-law wants to get into backpacking. (yay!) We’ve sourced most of the items he’ll need and he can borrow most of the rest from me, but I’m a scrawny runner-type and he enjoys lifting weights and gym work…
I’m looking for a nice (but not necessarily UL) down jacket in XL. MHW, TNF, REI, etc. I’m looking for a traditional American XL, not the trim-fit Rab or Montbell sizing. Hopefully in the ~16oz range, hopefully $100 shipped or so. If you have something similar but have upgraded to Feathered Friends or Western Mountaineering, etc., let me know.
