FS: Custom 40 Degree Synthetic Quilt – 100 USD – 14oz.
Looking to sell my MYOG quilt that is good for 40 degrees, and weighs in at 14oz. It uses Climashield APEX 3.6 oz/sq yd insulation, and 1.1oz/sq yd ripstop nylon as a shell (both purchased from ripstopbytheroll.com). It is modeled after a katabatic gear palisade 30 deg quilt shape. Features include two buckle closures in the back to fit around a pad, one snap at top, one drawstring at top, and a 3D foot box. All dimensions were modeled to fit my body. I’m 5’8″, 150lbs, with size 10 shoes. It fits me just fine, but if you are any bigger, I wouldn’t buy it. I need something warmer for alpine ascents, and am going to make a new one. Looking to recoup my costs.
