I’ve now decided I need a larger shelter (HMG Ultramid II) for my alpine ascents, and for weathering long stroms inside a shelter without going crazy. The hapi sil is basically the same shelter as the Duomid, just made in Japan, and with a few differences (sizing, and zipper location are the main differences). The DPTE accessory allows you to set up the shelter with an inverted V pole design allowing for two to sleep without a pole in between you two – perfect for couples).
