This backpacking/ice climbing/climbing/skiing pack is awesome. The Variant 37 is bigger than a day pack, but not so big you hate yourself for bringing everything but the kitchen sink. This pack is a size small and from 2009, give or take a year. It is in good shape. I would keep it but it's spring cleaning time and we own too many packs. There are a few worn spots and a patch (see photos).
