Clearing out some gear that I’ll probably never use:

MLD Trailstar (used) $140+shipping:

I picked up a used Trailstar out of curiousity, but have never used it. I don’t have a photo of it setup outside, but I have this photo of it indoors where I looked it over to verify seam sealing (it is) and holes/wear (no holes, all seams good). I know it looks like a bad halloween custume, but really, its a Trailstar! It has some trail grime on it, but is otherwise in good shape.

 

SOL Escape Bivy (new condition) $30 + shipping:

I picked up one of these out of curiousity as well, but never ended up using it. I’ve only taken the paper wrapper off of it, but never took the bivy out of the sack. This is the version that is breathable and has a thermally reflective interior coating. Richard Nisley tested the material and found that it lived up to its claims of being breathable (better CFM than eVent) and reasonably waterproof ( 1336mm HH).

I ended up getting a nice roomy Borah Gear eVent/Silpoly bivy, so no reason to hold onto this one:
