Howdy. Looking to replace/upgrade two pieces of gear that I have used quite a bit over the past few years that really need it.

I'm 6ft tall and around 190lbs, wear size 34x32 jeans, but I'd like the rain pants to be slightly bigger of course to wear over my hiking pants.

Down jacket I'd like to be 8oz or less, vest 6oz or less. Dark colors a plus.

Rain pants I'd like around 5oz or less, and something durable like silnylon, WPB or 1.0 Cuben, Pertex, etc. (i.e. no Dri Ducks and the like). Open to MYOG so long as the pants have been tested and I can see some pics. Not interested in chaps or skirts.
