I have a HMG Echo 2 person shelter that I’ve used only twice. I bought the shelter back in August 2015 after doing some research and falling in love with it. The reason I’m selling it is due to lack of experience with tap camping and not enough free time to use it. (I’m in paramedic school and don’t have the time to get out and camp). The second time I used it there were gust reaching 40 MPH+ turning my stakes into mini spears causing one piercing hole the size of a pen tip and two abrasion tears about 5/8 inch long (my lack of experience setting up a tarp shelter). I bought the repair tape through HMG and tapped the damage areas before deciding to sell the shelter. Here are some pictures of the tent and damage.
