- Arc’teryx Squamish Hoody, Men’s Medium, Oxblood Red, $85. Used with no holes, tears or rips. I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight and this is now loose on me. Got a new one in small and don’t need this one sitting around. I’ve tried lots of wind shirts and this one is king.
- Arc’teryx Atom LT Hoody, Men’s Medium, Carbon Copy (Charcoal grey exterior/red interior and hood trim) $145. Used, mainly around town. No damage. Always used mindfully and avoided over compression. (Even when sitting in a seat or chair.) Stored hung and loose. Only selling because of my weight loss. Will definitely use the funds to get another in a small. Best combination of warmth, breathability and wind shedding.
- Seek Outside Beyond Timberline 2, Brown, No Mods, $210. New, only test pitched in my backyard once. Comes with tipi stuff sack, stake sack with 10 GroundHog clone stakes and SilNet. I would rather sell quick and help someone save some money but If this doesn’t sell soon, I will contact Seek Outside and return for what I paid ($229) before the return window expires.
- GoLite Shangri La 3, Green, $75. Flysheet, nest and center pole included. NOTE: THIS IS DAMAGED. I’ve had this for 3 years and it’s served me well. I could make repairs but I figure I will sell it to someone else cheap, for repair or parts. Description of damage: The flysheet was scratched by a raccoon(?) when I went car camping on the coast in an area frequented by RVers (bad idea, I know). There is damage on two of the panels near one stake loop. I suppose some pinholes would be okay with silicone or poly cement. There are also longer tears that will need tape. There are holes directly under the same areas on the mesh of the nest, sewing or tape would work, I think. There is a hole in the mesh near the apex of the nest. This occurred when I inserted the center pole just off the apex and began to extend it upwards, it tore through the mesh. (Homer Simpson Moment, DOH) Speaking of the center pole, the shock cord that held it all together snapped some time ago. I attempted to open it up and repair it but I only ended up removed the torn length. Still functions normally, just have to be mindful to keep the lengths together during transport and assembly. One last thing, the glue or tape bonding the two layers of reinforcement in the apex delaminated. Not an issue in any sort of use except if you decide to hang the flysheet from a tree and use the nest at the same time. Considering I’ve seen the center poles for one of these shelters sell for $30-$40 alone, I figure this price is fair.
