My minimalism quest continues, and I'm getting rid of any and all "excess" gear - stuff I wanted to have "just in case" but realize that I'm not going to use it enough to justify the price.

After trying out a MLD superlight bivy thanks to a BPL member, I went ahead and ordered a cuben-floored one for myself. This one is the LARGE width, but REGULAR length, since I didn't really need the length of the large, but wanted the volume of the large to toss/turn/have a thick mattress. It was on Ron's recommendation.....

It literally has never even been taken out of the stuff sack - I just feel really guilty having purchased it (and of course, it's custom so I can't return it) and can't imagine using it much over of the solo inner net that I really like when I need bug protection in my Duomid.
