FS: The Good, The Bad, and The Unique!
|I've got a kid on the way and instead of holding onto some of this stuff thinking it will get used by me or clients I'm just going to offload it onto one of you in the hopes you'll get some use out of it. I take Paypal or cold hard cash. I'm not responsible for the use or misuse of any of this equipment and all is sold as is. Buyer pays shipping or we can arrange pickup or drop off if you live in the Front Range. All prices are negotiable and if you need more info on an item just ask. Going to learn about diapers today so if I don't respond it's because some woman is probably talking to me about baby shit! First the Good:
On the left is a Medium size Gregory Alpinisto 50 and I'm asking $50. It's seen a good amount of use but I stopped using it when I started using the pack in the middle. It's worn but still very useable. All zippers are in good conditions as well as clips. It is missing the waist buckles but those are cheap.
The middle is a Medium size BD Axis 33 and I'm asking $25. I've beat the living shit out of this pack. The zippers are finicky, it's missing the waist buckles and it's got plenty of holes but if you need a crag pack and maybe if you send it to BD for repairs you'll have a really nice pack. The only reason I stopped using it was because it started to look a little too dirtbag for work.
The right is a Medium size GoLite Qwest 85 pack and I'm asking $75. I've used this pack once on a trip to the Tetons. It's a good pack but I've learned how to not need that much backpack. Other than some scuffs and two tiny holes on the side it's practically new. All zippers work, all buckles are intact and it's still pretty shiny.Gregory Alpinisto 50 $50, BD Axis 33 $25, GoLite Quest 85 $75
Below in the bag is a BD Mesa tent that I bought a few years. It's a fine tent but I've got more tents than you can shake a stick at and I find myself not using this one as much. BD replaced the fly recently when I let it get blown around the desert. Has lots of tie downs included but no stakes. All the zippers work, the mesh and fabric are all intact. The poles aren't totally straight but you can't tell when the tent is up. Can't say how many days it's been used because it's enough I don't remember. Still a good backpacking or car camping tent in my opinion. The storage bags are all torn up because BD can't seem to make a tent bag for shit! Asking $100 for a couple year old tent.BD Mesa Tent $100
The hangboard below, Metolious Simulator, has never been used. Someone sold it to me. I thought I'd use it but I didn't. I'm asking $40 which is what I think I remember paying for it. Normal retail is $80.Metolious Simulator $40
These Evolv shoes below are $20 each. All they need is a resole. The one on the left is the Rockstar Size 9 I believe and the other is the Defy Size 10.Rockstar Size 9, $20; Defy Size 10, $20Rockstar Size 9 $20Defy size 10 $20
Now the Bad:
Here's a 9.8mm Sterling Rope I've had for a couple years and then sat in my garage for another year or so. It's no longer fit for climbing in my opinion. Might be nice for making a rug or something. Gimme $20 for my pride or do me a favor and recycle it.9.8mm Sterling Rope, $20Sterling 9.8mm $20
Below is some free stuff that I don't think has any value but I want to get rid of. The rope tarp is included. If you pay to get it to wherever you are you can have it. The .5 on the left I found but still has good movement. the 5 slings are the Mammut 8mm ones and are like 5 years old. The cord on the right is severely abraded in a couple spots. The tarp is fine. Maybe you want some bail gear or want to replace some rap tat or something like that. Maybe you just like junk!Various gear for Free!
If you need the cheapest Wal-Mart raingear available here it is. I don't know when I got this or who gave it to me. I don't use it. It's probably waterproof but this isn't high quality stuff. $10 so I don't just throw it away.Stearns Rain Jacket and Pants $10
And now the Unique:
Below are several publications of I would guess a classic nature since they're from the 70's and 80's. I imagine some of this is worth more than I'm asking and some less. I have little idea of the value. Included are some of the 1st issues of Summit from 80' and 81'. Issues of climbing between issues 50-65 with some in that series not present. Three issues of Off Belay. A cool news paper clipping of climbing at Carder Rock in the 70's. A copy of Royal Robbins Advanced Rockcraft, A couple copies of Accidents in NA Mountaineering. A Rock and Ice magazine. Some other various publications and copies of things. Boston mountaineering chapter, Chicago mountaineers, etc. If you want more details just ask. I'm not even sure what to ask so I'll ask for $100 for the whole lot of them and we can go from there for anyone interested. That's only $4 each. Certainly willing to split them up. All in very nice condition. Lots of interesting old articles and historical perspective on climbing.Lots of old magazines
