I bought two of these this past winter when Wally World decided to discontinue them. This is a Outdoor products Arrowhead pack which has been well regarded by cost concious pack modders.

I picked up two Orange and Grey versions with the idea of using one as light weight loaner and maybe modding one up. Stripped them both down to just the bag with the drawstring top, shoulder straps and side and back pockets. My digital kitchen scale shows that without stays, it weighs only 16oz. With stays it weighs 19.

In stripping them down, I can tell you the build quality on these is pretty darn good considering the cost and weight.The shoulder straps and back panel are nicely padded and mesh lined

The torso is about 19" from shoulder straps to the pack bottom.The main compartment is 22" tall to the top extension and about 8" deep by 12".The side pockets are big and the back zip pocket is plenty big enough for jackets etc. This would be a great minimalist UL pack for any small to average sized person and a great basis for an upgrade with a good hip belt which is what I am doing to the one I am keeping.
