Italian made. Size 9 USA. Purchased in 1974. Sold as a light mountaineering, heavy duty backpacking boot. Well used but in good shape with plenty of remaining miles. Normal wear scratches and digs in the all leather upper. There are no holes in the leather lining. Boots were always kept well treated with Snow Seal, a bee's wax based waterproofing and leather preservative. The Vibram sole has worn remarkably well. These are very stiff (not rigid), rugged boots well suited for carrying heavy loads on steep, rocky, mountain terrain and glacial travel with crampons and moderate front pointing on glacial ice.
