-Recessed heel pocket in bottom of shell interlocks with the inner boot's heel to prevent any play between the two components.
-A layer of synthetic cork is used in the shell's sole for additional insulation and shock absorbency; EVA heel plug further helps dissipate shock.
-Fully lace-removable inner boot made from both open- and closed-cell foam to maximize insulation while blocking out moisture; accommodates all foot volumes and shapes.
-Inner boot features thermo-formable heel and ankle padding (adapted from Atomic's alpine ski boots) to allow for a better performance fit, reduced heel lift, and increased comfort.
