I'm never going to be out in weather cold enough for this hood. It had a drawstring adjustment to tighten around the face with mini cordlock. Is cut so that it stays down around shoulders to retain heat and has a removable string that goes around shoulders/underarms to really hold it in place if desired. This is a very versitile item that can be worn as a hood with a jacket or to sleep in. Could also be used as extra insulation anywhere that's a little chilly (cbs), pillow etc... Pack is all original with no mods and will include and all accessories that come from ULA. This is a large torso with large hipbelt. S-straps. Original green/black color. Large torso- 21"-24" Large hipbelt- 38"-42" New belts can be purchased from ULA for around ($35 beleive) I love the pack but going to go with something a bit smaller for warmer weather (Maybe cuben).
