If you pack has buckles or straps, bungee loops or strong mesh holes, etc. located on the back and front of the pack about shoulder strap height - The UL PackLid work perfectly with no modification. It even fit well on an old style 1999 Golite Breeze by easily adding two small string loops through the mesh at the side pocket elastic hem.

Can be used to replace other brand stock over built pack lids that weigh too much!
How To Attach to MLD Packs:

The rear corners of the lid has two hooks- they clip to the small upper 3mm black / white loops above the shoulder straps- back part is done - 20sec!

Front adjustable buckles use the 3mm line and the end of the line can be tied to any of the 3mm B+W loops all along the front side of the main mesh pocket. Can also be tied or clipped to the clip/buckle/web loop at the top corner of the rear main mesh pocket. Where you tie it to the front of the pack is up to the user depending on how full/tall the pack is loaded.

Many other brands of packs have some type of hooks or loops/buckles/straps on the sides/front/back of the packs that the lid can be attached to using some line and a little ingenuity.
