WTB size 45-ish mountaineering boots
Howdy! I'm looking for some relatively mild mountaineering boots for winter hiking, mostly the White Mountains in NH or similar. I'd want something insulated and compatible with at least semi-automatic crampons, but nothing too intense -- something like the Lowa Alpine Expert GTX or Scarpa Ribelle Tech seem like the sweet spot. I wear a size 45 in Scarpa non-winter boots, so could be interested in anything in that range, although I generally can't wear La Sportiva boots because I've got wider feet. I'm also local to the Boston, MA area and would love something nearby that I could try on before buying. Thanks!
