- light approach shoe/trail runner with sticky rubber. I'd entertain whatever you got. Scarpa Rapid GTX 43.5 are my preferred in this genre, maybe you bought some and they just don't fit right? 

- thin to mid weight, water resistant climbing glove. Something like the BD Terminator.
