FS: KS Ultralight KS40 pack (~43L custom) with Frame Set
I’ve only used this for 7 days, it’s in brand new condition (see pics). It’s a great pack but I’ve decided I need a larger 60L+ pack for winter trips and hunting.

Features:
- Torso Length: 22 inches (56cm)
- Belt size: 34.5 to 37.5 inch waist belt (85cm to 95cm)
- Volume: 38L + larger water bottle pockets, higher front pocket, 10cm extension collar (+~5L = ~43L+ total vs. default of 38L)
- Main body dimensions 15 x 30 x 85 cm
This pack includes additional features:
- Removable black aluminum tube frame stays; supports up to 25 lb. recommended weight

- 3D mesh for back panel (I think this breathes better, less sweat on your back)
- Back sit pad cord lashing loops
- Large/wider hip belts – 38mm
- Load lifters – 20mm
- Extension collar – 10cm
- 2 ice axe loops
- 4 loops at bottom
Custom features:
- Front pocket – 5cm taller for more space and to match longer 56cm torso length
- Side water bottle pockets – taller 24cm height and wider to accommodate two smart water bottles each or to hold a tent etc (see pictures). The default KS40 doesn’t hold 2 smart water bottles in each side pocket.
Fabrics:
- Pack body: X-pac X21RC in cloud grey
- Bottom: X-pac VX21 black
- Side pockets: X-pac VX21 black
- Waist belt and shoulder straps: Nylon 200D spectra diamond rip stop, newer 10 mm foam (thicker than older models), and 3D mesh inside.
- *note KS is out of X21RC cloud grey and VX21 black till 2021
