I let my old setup age out and am basically rebuilding a backpacking kit from scratch. I need most major items, except these – Pack, Hammock, poles, shoes, hydration pack.

I do mostly short/medium weekend hikes so ultra light (and usually ultra pricey) gear is not necessary, but am only looking for good brands (as in REI brands, not Dicks). But if you have a good deal on premium gear Im always open

 

Need –

0. Underquilt (under quilt) and Overquilt (over quilt) for a hammock, ideally rated to 30*)
1. Backpacking Stove, fuel bottle, and stove/cooking related supplies
2. 2x personal Mess kit (plate, fork, etc) + 1x common mess kit (pots, etc)
4. Dark green or Camo Green or Camo Deser medium weight jacket (something good for hiking in 40-50* weather with moderate wind and possible mist or light rain prefer Goretex but others considered 6’1″, 185lbs, 42″ chest)
5. Lantern (campsite 360* flash light)
6. High quality socks and under layers (merino wool blend) for size 12 feet, 6’1″ height, 185lbs – generally size Large in most clothing, or occasionally Medium if the brand runs large
7. Lightweight Camp chairs
8. Lightweight camp table
9. Single wall (non-insulated) stainless steel water bottles
10. Trail worthy pants multiple pair wanted, size 33 or 34 waist, 32 or 34 inseam. Looking for both hot weather and medium weight pants, so something for 75-90* and sunny, and also others for 40-60* cloudy)
11. Portable solar panel charger (for charging phone/GPS, at least 15w and 20-25 is better)
12. Compression sacks (ideally water resistant)
13. High quality wool or synthetic cap (dark color)
14. Bug out bag / emergency survival kit
