This makes a great live aboard set up or burly weekender for those that want more out of their camper than a van might offer.  Easy maneuvering, tons of secure storage in ext cab, ability to go anywhere, and potential to remove and use as daily driver or work truck depending on what life throws at you.  Trailers are a task and can't be taken offroad well, full size cabovers are top heavy and cumbersome, vans have very little utility, RVs are a huge commitment, teardrops are tiny, and roof tents are wildly overprice as well as downright silly if you ask me.  This thing does it all for less than 10k...

The Truck: 99 4WD Chevrolet Silverado with 175K, 3 door extended cab, bench seating, power everything, fresh all terrain tires, bed liner, reliable and easy to maintain engine, smooth shifting, and bluetooth stereo.  Runs great, kills it on back country, and rides smooth on the highway.  No rust thanks to AZ weather, damaged paint thanks to AZ weather.  Shows its age cosmetically but runs like a champ.
