The dry bag it comes with is 40L. I will include a seatosummit 65L 420d nylon dry bag as well ($70 value). You can use either bag depending on your trip requirements.

The advantage of this backpack is that you have a dry bag for your main bag. When scaling say Mt. Whitney, you can leave behind the big dry bag while still having room to access water, snacks, cook kit etc with the shallow bag attached to the frame.
