Weisshorn is insulated with Gore Duratherm, carbon midsole is tuned for stiffness when front-pointing but a bit of rocker for comfortable walking. Silicone-impregnated split-grain leather, Gore-tex liner, rollerball eyelets for laces, Vibram Dolent sole. Full-auto crampon compatible. Awesome boots, but I've developed a "sixth toe," and they put pressure on it. Ack! Replacing with a Sportiva G5. These are warm, comfortable, super versatile. Wore them on Mont Blanc, ice cragging, on Longs in winter. Great boots. Like new, $150.

Vertical GTX is a lighter, more svelte boot designed by ice and mixed. Rigid sole, insulated, integrated gaiter. Full auto crampon compatible. Handmade in Italy. Gore-tex liner, great boots! Like new, $100
