Kitchen
Reclaimed butcher block Malaysian hardwood kitchen and storage countertops
Whynter 65-Quart Portable Refrigerator/Freezer on sliding platform that locks to the floor for safety
Wallas XC Duo stove/heater combo that runs off of the Sprinter’s diesel tank – we’ve taken her easily down to -10 and still slept with a light blanket. Stove has an altitude switch to function easily in the mountains or at sea level.
Shurflo electric water pump with low faucet to minimize waste with remote on/off switch
Two seven gallon fresh water tanks and one seven waste collection tank
Hand-scraped natural Acacia hardwood flooring

Bed
Full-sized Ikea low profile mattress to minimize space, yet still be very comfortable
Custom cabinets to maximize the interior space
Standard and USB compatible outlets on both sides of the bed for easy device charging

Windows
We liked being incognito and camping anywhere without disturbance, so opted for no windows. It also helped with the heating/cooling. Instead we installed our beautiful bird artwork. This is a very simple install, and could be quickly swapped for artwork of your choice.

Van
Overhead cabinet storage as well as open storage above the cab - all locked with marine latches and easy open/soft close with gas spring struts
four-tiered LED lighting system allowing each bed passenger to control lighting on their side, and one in the kitchen if one of you is kind enough to get up and cook breakfast first
Brand new rear tires
Insulation was systematically layered to ensure cool summer days and warm winter nights – happy to share insulation photos, R-25
Insulated divider between cab and living space to make sure that insulation was working all the way around
Tow hitch – optional Yakima SwingDaddy bike rack for an additional $250, $409, MSRP
MaxxAir Deluxe fan, 10 speed dual direction
Tongue and groove pine sealed with Danish oil - dirt resistant, water resistant, yet is microporous to water vapour allowing the wood to ‘breathe’
Van is badged Dodge, but everything underneath is Mercedes
Drivers door window is off the tracks, body has a couple of cosmetic scratches/rust, and the AC doesn’t currently work. We can fix these or not - up to the buyer.

Under Bed Storage
Extensive storage perfect for skis/snowboards/climbing gear/camping gear
Lighting to make finding gear easy
Industrial flooring

Electrical
510amh deep cycle AGM Solar Batteries – enough to run power tools, electric water kettle, fridge, stove and lights no problem
325 Watt Panasonic High Efficiency Solar Panel – 20 year power output and 1- year product workmanship warranty
Renogy Tracer 40 Amp MPPT Charge Controller
Xantrax X-Power 3000 Inverter GFCI and convenient remote on/off switch
Pre-run heavy duty copper wire if you desire to hook up an alternator backup for the solar – we never needed it so never connected
Professional electrical installation with easily labeled and managed Blue Sea Systems electrical fuse box, highly redundant safety systems in place for all electrical.

The van is a diesel, and while 200K in car miles is lot, per CarsDirect, our buddy is just at the very beginning of her long life:
A gasoline powered truck can run for 200,000 miles. Conversely, a diesel truck has a longer lifespan and can run for at least 500,000 and as much as 800,000 miles. This is because it has a heavier and sturdier body.

*We opted for no shower or toilet, as dealing with the water needs and physically disposing of human waste wasn’t up our alley. A composting toilet could be added under the electrical cabinet.

We bought a house and so sadly time to let her go. We hope our sad loss could be your good fortune! Please contact with any questions. We're happy to schedule showings as well.
