Sorry this isn’t the typical light weight gear post! Figured someone here might be interested in this for car camping.

First off, This thing is SPACIOUS. It’s a 2.5P tent; it has plenty of room for 2 tall people (up to 7′) plus a little one (child or better yet–furry companion).
I have only taken this camping twice. It’s easy to set up, easy to take down. It has a unique design — a front and side door that allows for a 180 degree view when both are open.

I am selling because I got a lighter 2P tent for backpacking.

This tent is in great condition EXCEPT for a tear in the mesh (side door) from my dog. It should be an easy fix if you get a roll of repair tape instead of the patches ($5 at REI last time I checked). Don’t lock yourself out of your car and leave your dog in the tent while you go look for help and this kind of thing shouldn’t happen again.
