We wanted to create a down layer that would be exceptionally lightweight (LT), breathable, and provide the right amount of insulation from fall through early summer. Now we have the perfect under-the-shell insulation piece, camping sweater, and hiking and traveling layer wrapped into one superlight, packable jacket. We achieved this by pairing responsibly sourced, water-resistant 950-fill goose down with Polartec Alpha Direct side panels. This blend, like the original Fuego, pulls double duty—locking in warmth where you need it and releasing excess heat where you don’t. The main difference is that the LT’s 950-fill down is lighter and more compressible, and the Polartec Alpha Direct is open on the interior, which is both lighter than the original Alpha and promotes better breathability. The Fuego LT now features an updated, streamlined fit. Our customer feedback informed improvements throughout, such as an increased circumference at the bust, larger armhole, and longer waist length in all sizes. We also eliminated the hood for further weight savings.
