> Bought used, but arrived in near-perfect condition. Used once on Mount Washington. Very light and very strong. Fantastic piece of gear.

Arc'teryx Psiphon FL - Large - $130
> Bought used, but arrived in near-perfect condition. Used 40+ days last winter. This softshell won OutdoorGearLab's Editor's Choice for 2018. There is a small hole in the midsection of the jacket, probably from being punctured by the tip of an ice screw or tool. However, the usual circumstances where softshells shine precludes very wet conditions, so this imperfection has not affected its functioning to date. As good as the reviews promise!

Patagonia Nano Air Hoody - Large - $110
> Bought used, but arrived in near-perfect condition. Used 15+ days last winter. This synthetic insulated jacket won OutdoorGearLab's Top Pick for 2018. Very versatile - a great midlayer for cold conditions, or as an outer layer on dry, lightly windy days.

Marmot 800FP Down Belay Parka - XL - $110
> Bought used, then used for 15-20 days. This kept me warm on -10F days with light winds, and 5F days with 30+MPH winds on Mount Washington. I bought this without much thought, but it continues to impress me with its warmth, function, and comfort. Two tiny tears in the lower back where down slooowly comes out, but otherwise in excellent condition. I hate to see this one go.

Petzl Nomics - $300
> Bought used, then used 5-10 days last winter. Good condition, but the picks don't have too much life left in them. No head rattling!

Petzl Lynx Crampons - $100
> Bought used, then used 40+ days last winter. Plenty of life left! No accompanying crampon bag, I'm sorry to say.

Grivel G1+ S.A. - 58cm - $40
> Standard mountaineering axe. S.A. = Self Arrest shaft curvature. Used once. Great ergonomics, but its use cases are limited to steeper mountaineering routes; you definitely won't be using this as a replacement for trekking poles!

OR Alibi II Gloves - Large - $60
> Bought new, never used. I didn't get an opportunity to use them, but I looked forward to a glove that a) improved grip and warmth without sacrificing much dexterity (versus liner gloves), and feeling like I'm wearing gauntlets (BD Punishers).

Jetboil MiniMo Stove - $100
> Bought new, never used. Won OutdoorGearLab's Top Pick for backpacking stoves in 2018. Using OGL's metrics, this stove is competitive in each metric without being a master of any. Truly an excellent all-around stove for the backcountry.

La Sportiva Batura 2.0 GTX - US 11.5 / EU 45 - $400
NOTE: I'm reticent to sell these boots. I'm accepting offers, but have priced them to reflect my reluctance to part with them.
> Bought used, then used heavily. Warm but light boot at a standard sizing. My feet were slightly too small for the boots, so I swapped the standard insoles for new Superfeet Carbon insoles, which slightly decreased the available volume of the boots. So, if you think your feet might be a little too small for a boot this size, these minimal insoles might put you comfortably in the driver's seat of this pair!

Cold Cold World Valdez - $90
> Bought new, used heavily, but it's hard to tell! Comes in a 90's-era rich blue, minimal but super rugged. I heard stories about people owning CCW packs for 10, 15, 20 years after purchase, attesting to their durability. Really great pack with a cult following.

Mammut Eternity 9.8mm x 70m Dry Rope - $135
> Bought new, used for 5-10 days and exclusively for leading. Still basically new! The ends of the rope are wrapped in red reflective tape, so it's easier to see the ends when rappelling at night, or to see your partner by headlamp if, say, their headlamp died. A little unorthodox, but an elegant hack and the tape is easily removable if it doesn't suit you.
