FS-Zpacks Altaplex .74 spruce with luxurylite (neotrekk) staff 530$

Spruce green Altaplex, perfect condition. Only used a handful of nights and was babied. I added 2 extra guylines to make it absolutely bombproof in wind but they can easily be removed (to close the doors). I have a custom made aluminum hiking staff that only weighs a couple of ounces more than the Zpacks carbon version, but it is MUCH stronger and can be set to different heights for the tent depending on the situation.

This guy made the staff by the way. He has made and innovated tons of lightweight/ultralight gear. So many pieces, in fact, that cascade designs bought him out! The Zpacks carbon fiber staff was based off of this walking staff. I tried a zpacks staff on the AT and it snapped on me when it should not have. Which is why I opted for this aluminum one. You can make a Stik 57 / 58 / 59 / 60 / 61 / 62 / 63. These are the inches lengths for the staff. It allows you to pitch the tent lower, adjust for sand, slopes, etc. Truly a much better design than the zpacks carbon staff. You can also use it to help you get water from hard to reach places due to the design! Overall it is a HUGE improvement over the zpacks staff. Really a cool piece of gear.
